Reporting to the Head of Software Development, the successful candidate will, as a member of the management team, be required to effectively lead and execute the Development portfolio and related activities.Working as part of a self-organising Scrum team with varying skillsets, such as UX / UI Design, QA Testing and Web Development.The Web Developer Lead works within the team using a variety of web technologies(frontend and backend), on highly visible website projects, to deliver a cutting-edge gaming experience to our users.This is a key role for the business that requires an entrepreneurial individual who is able to direct as well as do the work, and who will gain much satisfaction from solving a wide variety of challenging problems and playing a pivotal role within a small and focused development management team.

•	Strong leadership and people management competencies.
•	At least 6 years hands-on development experience.
•	Computer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualification.
•	Proven experience in internet technology and web development.
•	Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS
•	Good understanding of JavaScript and basic programming practices

•	Familiarity with CSS pre-processing(e.g.SASS)
•	Good understanding of JavaScript and Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks(e.g.Angular)
•	C# Web Development with .NET 3.5 or higher
•	Agile / Scrum experience
•	Knowledge of source control systems (e.g.TFS)
•	Unit testing experience
•	Familiarity with a popular CMS(e.g.Umbraco)
•	Educated to degree level or equivalent

•	Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
